We all owe thanks to Kate Turabian for developing the Turabian Style. Kate Turabian was the dissertation secretary at the University of Chicago. Her book A Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations, sheds more light on the Turabian formatting style including how to set up a Turabian style page.
The Turabian Style is based on the Chicago style of writing. Also, it is majorly used when writing humanity papers such as history papers, religion papers, English Literature papers, Philosophy papers, and sometimes in other disciplines.
When formatting scholarly books, the Chicago formatting style is the standard. However, since students always had issues writing papers, the focus of Kate Turabian was on the rules refined for paper writing.

There are two formatting conventions under Turabian Style:
When instructed to write Turabian Style papers, always stick to the endnotes and footnotes variant, unless specified.
Margins: the margins should be 1-inch and no more than 1.5 inches.

When citing the bible in endnotes, footnotes, and parenthetical citations, there is no need to include the Bible in your reference list or bibliography.
If you are to cite a specific passage or the scripture, only use the abbreviated name of the book, chapter, and verse numbers. However, DO NOT include the page number. The chapter and verse numbers are always separated by a colon.

Bibliography Entry: The Bible and other sacred works do not need to be included in the bibliography.
When citing motion pictures or movies in Turabian, your citation must include the title of the film, date of release, name of the studio or entity that produced it, and director’s name etc.
